Hey !

I am concidering the lightswith for a houselight system for a client of mine.
I am wondering if it is possible to connect a DMX console to the system, either before or after the master panel, so that the houselights also can be conntrolled by the lighttech at front of house (or have it programmed in a show)..
Or is it possible to use a merger, so that the system has two DMX inputs?

It seems to me like it is only possible to have one active memory at a time, is this correct?? For me it would have been great to have separate buttons for the houselights, worklights and bluelights, and have the possibility to turn them on and off separatly.

Hello,

Unfortunately you can only have one console on a DMX system at one time so the answer is no to your question.

You can merge two DMX sources together that could give the effect you are looking for.

However there is another product that does what you want. If you look on our web-site for Dimmer-Switch. This product has 6 fader controls that can either be static scenes or sequences. Also one fader can also be a live DMX feed from your console.

With this product you can have more than one memory active at one time and Live DMX from your console merged with the memories.

Thanks

Simon
