I have a Net-Lynx O/P box here and have not been successful in communicating to it. I have vast experience with Art-Net, so I have all my ip parameters set, but when I plug in a straight Cat 5 cable or xover cable to any network or laptop the Com light doe’s not come on. I have tested my cables and switched them out. The red light is not blinking, so I know it’s not a hardware problem. Any ideas? I really appreciate it. Thanks,

Hi,
Have you tried setting all the switches to F and then rebooting?? This will take it to factory configuration so if the IP address is set to a different range it will be reset to the 2.x.x.x range.
Otherwise it will be a hardware issue. You can send the unit to us for investigation
Thanks

I believe I have a similar issue-
I am trying to get a Net-Lynx O/P to receive data from a GrandMA Ultra light.
not knowing the configuration I inherited the Net-Lynx box in, I set all dials to 'F' and cycled power. however the GrandMA will not let me set an address to 2.X.X.X
can I set the Net-Lynx to the 192.168.0.X area? how?
-or- how to configure the GrandMA to work with the default Net-Lynx setting?
The grandMA's DMX ethernet configuration is set for universe 1 protocol artnet port 0 : 0

Hi,
You can change the IP address of a Net-Lynx by using DMX-Workshop. If you go to the support section of our web-site you can download it for free.
This will allow you to change the IP address so you are in the same range as the MA.
If you still have problems please reply to this thread or email me.
Thanks
Simon
