I am having a few "major" issues with the 2pc seperate Demux modules
Each is in a seperate panel and each does the same thing so I 'll discuss based on 1 panel

We are only using 6 of the 16 (0 - 10V) output channels
Each cahnnel operates a 0 - 10V Electronic Pneumatic regulator that is set from 0 - 130psi (hense 0 - 10V = 0 - 130psi)
Term wire is installed
No AC wires are near the DC signals or the Demux

The noticiable problem that the Electronic regulator continually oscilate caused by the Demux output voltage fluctuation

We metered Demux output of the Demux and can "see" that the output voltage fluctuates by at least +/- 0.013V
It is probably fluctuating more than this

When the Regulator is connected and operated by a PLC 0-10V signal it is completely stable, as is the PLC output signal , no V fluctuation at all

We "think" this may be due to the Scan time on the Demux
If so can the Demux be made to only scan the 1st 6 channels which will create a quicker scan rate ?

Or has anyone used a RC circuit to stabalize the output signal ?

The other "odd" thing we noticed is that if slight finger pressure is exerted on the Demux terminal board the voltage fluctuation decreases by about 50%
Odd I know but we have double checked all the wires, connectins ect and found no issues

Any suggestions is appreciated

Hi, It's possible that the fluxuations you are experiencing may be due to the DMX control supplied to the Demux. Could you tell what DMX controller you are using? Also, do you have the serial number of the units? For further support you can also email me at tim@artisticlicence.com
