The following are tips for using Art-Net with Vista:
1) Turn off the Windows Firewall.
2) If you shut down a third party firewall it automatically turns on the Windows Firewell.
3) It may be necessary to turn off Windows Defender.
4) Turn off "User Account Control" in the Control Panel - User Accounts.
5) Make sure in the "User Account Control" that you are the administrator.
6) Consider turning off the Virus Check.
